SCREEN TOO SMALL
Use at least 900 × 820 CSS pixels. On a tablet, try landscape orientation.
PIXEL SELECTION
Keeps every layer, its order, visibility and lock state. Turn this off to merge visible layers.

You can also draw in the draft yourself.
The full sequence and each tag open as separate clips.
NEW PIXEL PROJECT
Choose any source grid: 16×16 for compact sprites, 32×32 as a neutral start, or a larger grid for more detailed characters.
Generated from the name. Change it only when you need a specific stable key.
IMAGE SIZE
Pixels remain unchanged. Reducing the canvas crops pixels outside the new bounds.

UNSAVED CHANGES
Frame durations use whole ticks at the chosen rate. Switching timebases rounds existing durations and markers to the nearest tick. Undo restores the previous timing.
INSTALL SPRITEFORGE
LOCAL EXPORT
Use {project}, {projectId}, {clip}, {clipId}, and {scale}. Duplicate filenames are rejected.
Everything is processed locally and downloaded as one ZIP. Templates stay in this browser, separately from project pixels.
Animation audio is never included in exports.
PNG exports preserve layer opacity as RGBA. GIF stays indexed: partial transparency is dithered and colors may be reduced to 255.
NEW ITEM
Restore opens the complete unsaved project state. Discard permanently removes these changes and opens the matching saved project or new-canvas base.
